Our child has gone from screaming at drop off every day for a year at our previous Centre to looking forward to pre-school and west pennant hills childcare saying ‘I had the best day ever’ each afternoon.
The first six points in our philosophy highlight how the 5 Outcomes from The Early Years Learning Framework v2 (EYLF) are embedded into our program, followed by the key learning areas and enrichment programs at PHPS. We also value our diverse team of teachers and the uniqueness of each family working together in our goals and visions. As part of this process, Verified Centres undergo a financial assessment to ensure their reliability and credibility. We maintain an ongoing relationship with Verified Centres and provide them with support so they can offer you fresh and accurate information. Family-owned and operated, Little Angels Childcare and Learning Center caters to the requirements of children between the ages of three and five by offering a variety of carefully organised play-based programmes. Learning to respect and love one another is a priority at Little Angels.
For accuracy and safety, results are discussed during a booked GP appointment. Results are not interpreted or released without an appointment. Early childhood is the ideal time for children to develop and practice combining healthy eating and physical activity. We support families during this time working with your child at their pace to achieve this milestone.
Our enrolments team will review and reach out to confirm your child’s spot. Once approved, you will need to pay the refundable bond of 2 weeks' fees and the non-refundable enrolment fee. The government pays Wonder Years directly, and you are responsible for the gap fee.E.g If daily fees are $120 a day, and your CCS entitlement is 50%, the government pays us $60 a day, and you will only be billed for $60. We believe in the importance of positive discipline and promoting children's social and emotional development. Our team is trained in positive behaviour management techniques, and we encourage children to develop a positive self-image and a sense of self-worth. We deliberately chose to send him to the Hills Montessori, despite some distance from our house, as we know it’s a great pre-school.
Being with children is the most rewarding job, as everyday you get to see them grow, learn and change into strong, independent people. Children receive their own My Learning and Development Book, which is updated regularly with their progress. To BE Me is underpinned by Guardian’s world class teaching program that has been developed over many years of research and thousands of hours observing how children develop.
The educators as well as all the activities which are planned throughout the day are very well planned. Our To BE Me learning program helps you see your child’s learning adventure in a whole new light. Their pathway is personalised, with every milestone captured in a way that makes the link between play and learning clear and memorable.
It's always telling when a child goes to two different preschools / childcares at the same time and picks a favourite, and it seems to be everyone that I speak to, all of their kids also pick Sun Valley as their favourite. To BE Me is Guardian’s exclusive learning program specifically designed for each age and stage of your child’s early years. The program includes resources and tools that support learning and make it easy to see your child’s progress along Learning and Development Pathways. It groups your child’s learning into seven areas to help you see this progress clearly. Each of these areas has behaviours or skills that are generally linked to each age and stage. Guardian West Pennant Hills offers high quality early learning for children aged six weeks to six years.
Our enrolment process is straightforward and designed to support you every step of the way. My family have been at this centre for over 4 years now and we love it. The outdoor space is beautiful and the kids get to do excursions to the adjacent nature reserve. They are all so wonderful, passionate, caring, friendly and helpful, really happy to go the extra mile to help out their kids and families. There has been very little staff turnover while we've been there too which means the kids get to build great relationships with the educators. The NSW Government offers funding to subsidise the cost of preschool in long day care.
Please note, quiet space is provided for children who wish to use their time to complete homework, however Educators are unable to offer individual help as they need to supervise all children. Orchard Early Learning Centre West Pennant Hills is operated by Orchard Early Learning Centres Pty Ltd (Orchard ELC Unit Trust), which contributes 0% to the total available child care capacity in New South Wales. In OWNA, you will receive daily updates and photos and be able to communicate directly with your child’s educators. After sending my son to another local preschool in the Hornsby area for a short time, we changed to PHWMCC and the difference is night and day. This is an amazing place, with incredible educators who make the whole experience amazing for the little ones. My son (1) has settled in beautifully and I feel relaxed knowing he is in the best care. The educators at Kindalin West Pennant Hills use meal and snack time as another educational opportunity for the children.
The staff are warm, approachable, and genuinely care about each child’s development. The daily activities are well planned and engaging, helping the children learn through play. The communication with parents is excellent, and the environment is always clean, safe, and welcoming. My children have flourished here — thank you to the wonderful team at Kids Planet Academy!
