Anita and some of her nursery friends enjoy some story time and songs outside in the shaded garden. On any given day the Toddlers can be seen developing their numeracy by building a tower, sorting objects, pointing and identifying shapes and patterns and participating in counting songs and games. During the tour you will visit inside numerous classrooms and see our students learning effectively at any given time throughout the school day. Before Ava sits down for lunch with her friends and educators, Ava takes part in the centre’s sports program. Sports helps Ava improve her flexibility and strength (perfect for growing bodies!). Children in our toddler space are encouraged to participate in group play.
They've always been very supportive and caring and it was extremely sad to leave, out little one still talks fondly of her old school very time we drive past it. Our Bush Kinder program has been inspired by the ‘forest schools’ of Denmark and Scandinavia. We know that children who engage in the natural world are often happier, healthier and have a stronger respect for the world around them. Our bush kinder program encourages children to be active, to be creative and to enjoy the outdoors. Our modern long-daycare centre is conveniently located just a short drive to local primary schools, including Thomas Mitchell Primary School, Mary MacKillop Primary School, and Narre Warren North Primary School. Fountain Gate Shopping Centre and Endeavour Hills Shopping Centre are also just a short drive away.
Providing a clean, safe, and fun environment for children to learn and grow is our top priority. The educators are not only qualified but also incredibly warm, kind, and genuinely invested in every child's well-being and development. Our child has formed a beautiful, strong bond with their primary educator, who provides responsive, respectful, and personalised care. We especially appreciate their excellent communication, providing daily updates (including photos!) that make us feel connected, even when we are at work. Our team of trained educators foster a learning environment that encourages curiosity and exploration. With a wide range of educational resources and activities, we inspire the children in our care to develop intellectually, emotionally, and socially.

I cannot speak highly enough of the Narre Warren YMCA Early Learning Centre. All staff members made an incredible effort to make us and our daughter feel comfortable and welcome from our first interaction with the centre. Further, staff have been patient and supportive whilst my daughter has adjusted to attending care, and have worked through strategies to support her to thrive in areas that were challenging for her. As a result, my daughter has developed strong, secure relationships with all staff members involved in her care and she clearly enjoys attending childcare. Staff have always demonstrated high levels of communication with me and I have never had to  worry about my daughter whilst she is there.
Children at Milestones Narre Warren North learn through our Lifelong Learning Curriculum, a research-informed approach that supports early literacy, STEM exploration, social development and emotional wellbeing. Our government-approved Kindergarten program helps children build the confidence and skills they need for a smooth transition to school. We also incorporate sustainability lessons into our programs too. Narre Warren North Primary School recognises the importance of ensuring our new students feel safe, nurtured and excited about starting school. The beginning of your child’s journey to school starts with our extensive and supportive Prep Transition Program, where your child will have many opportunities to engage with their new school and surroundings. This will help your child establish a personal connection and begin to settle in to their new school environment. The oral language supports literacy learning and a child’s oral language ability is the best predictor for later success in learning to read and write. Hearing the sounds within a language is the first critical step for all literacy learning.
I like to invest my leisure time in watching movies, engaging in performing arts and relaxing outdoors around nature. I am enjoying working with children supporting their learning and adding new understandings to my learning journey every day. In addition to the indoor activities, we often organise outdoor play to foster a love for nature and to provide children with the physical activity their growing bodies need.
