Several ferries per day depart for Green Island from Fugang Harbor just north of Taitung City. This attraction is definitely off-the-beaten-track for international travelers. They offer free pick-up from Luye train station, but communication could be difficult. The grounds include a café, restaurant, organic 台東 伴手 farms, cultural displays, and gorgeous scenery, but the highlight is the dance performances. These take place twice a day, and only if there are enough people, so it’s better to come on the weekend and call first to confirm . Luye (鹿野) is one of my favorite places to spend the night along Highway 9.

A must try if you are nearby, they have best food with mixed cuisines updating delicious dishes according to seasonal ingredients. If you are in Chishang, you absolutely MUST eat here. Everything is wholesome and delicious and looks amazing too. The quiche set comes with a soup to start off with, but both times I got it, I devoured it before remembering to take a picture. The owner is a lovely lady and the cafe is so chill and relaxing.

Tourists can purchase locally made handicrafts and indulge in delicious street food while exploring the city’s vibrant neighborhoods. Guohua Street and Blueprint Cultural and Creative Park are great places to find handmade crafts and creative items. Meanwhile, Wusheng Night Market and Dadong Night Market offer a wide selection of street food and snacks. Artisanal crafts and design are a prominent feature of Tainan’s shopping scene, with a variety of shops and markets offering locally made goods and unique designs.
There is a restroom, a few shops with  restaurants, and visitor information centers at the entrance. It is three hours long trial that starts with the opening of ocean bays and a connecting bridge between the mainland and islands. On the island, it is two hours trails and the island is made up of volcanic rocks. Good shoes are recommended along with skin protection cream.
